You should enjoy investigating problems, understanding how systems and data work together, and finding ways technology can make processes more efficient., * 1-3 years of related experience in systems development, core processing, enterprise systems administration, application support, or a related technical field. * Experience with scripting or programming languages such as PowerOn, SQL, JavaScript, or comparable development tools. * Experience troubleshooting software, applications, hardware, or system-related issues. * Experience supporting production systems or technology environments. * Experience with Symitar/Episys or another financial institution core processing system is preferred. * Financial institution experience is preferred. * Experience supporting data and reporting environments is a plus. Education * Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems and technologies. * Understanding of data structures, workflows, databases, and system logic. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines. * Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users. * Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across departments. * High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality when working with member, financial, and system information. ## Description The Systems Specialist I provides technical support and assists with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of systems within TLC's core processing environment. The role works primarily with our Symitar/Episys Core and related applications, supporting programs, reports, integrations, automated processes, and data needs across the organization. This position works closely with internal departments, other technology team members, and vendor partners to help ensure our systems are reliable, accurate, secure, and meeting the evolving needs of the Credit Union. This position is approved for remote/hybrid work.
