The Practitioner performs and organizes discovery efforts at hospitals and clinics related to End User Devices (EUDs), interfaced systems, and Data Drops & Power Outlets (DDPO), then conducts post-discovery analysis to inform technical scope and requirements. Building a working understanding of the client's standard capabilities, devices, and interfaces is essential to meaningful discovery and gap analysis. Through the remainder of the deployment lifecycle, the Practitioner supports device procurement tracking and logistics, owns relationships with local site IT leaders and other technology/network/engineering groups, and supports overall technical readiness for the transition to a new EHR.
