## About the Role

* Current CompTIA A+ certification
 * Current CompTIA Security+ certification
 * At least 1 year of hands-on IT support experience within the past 5 years
 * Authorized to work in the United States
 * Able to meet Travis AFB installation access requirements
 * Available on-site Monday through Friday mornings

Preferred

Experience supporting IT systems in a military, government, or education environment is helpful but not required.

## Description

We're hiring a part-time IT Support Specialist to support an education and testing center at Travis Air Force Base.

This is a hands-on IT support role covering Windows workstations, testing lab computers, printers, Wi-Fi/network equipment, classroom AV systems, software troubleshooting, backups, and basic equipment inventory.

The schedule is consistent weekday mornings with no nights or weekends.

What you'll do

 * Set up, configure, and image Windows computers
 * Maintain computers used in the testing lab
 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
 * Support Wi-Fi and basic network hardware
 * Maintain classroom AV equipment
 * Perform backups and routine system maintenance
 * Provide day-to-day technical support to staff
 * Maintain basic IT equipment inventory
 * Occasionally move and set up computer equipment
