This role involves fostering a positive reading environment for elementary students, managing library inventory and scheduling, assisting end-users with technical requests via a helpdesk ticketing system, and coordinating Chromebook repairs., Library Services & Operations * Create and maintain a weekly library schedule for EC-5th grade classrooms; teach foundational library skills, lead book talks, and host story times. * Handle checking in and out of materials, shelving, processing new items, conducting annual inventories, shelf reading, and maintaining library organization. * Plan, manage, and market annual book fairs; design creative displays, reading themes, and literacy encouragement activities. * Provide occasional front office secretarial coverage as needed. IT Support & Technical Services * Monitor and respond to helpdesk ticketing system requests; deliver prompt, daily technical support and basic system training to staff and students. * Coordinate the Chromebook repair process with the district's third-party repair vendor; assist in maintaining an accurate technology asset inventory and documentation. * Assist with synchronizing information between school software systems (including library automation and Google Admin). * Work closely with the Director of Technology to coordinate system updates, research efficiency improvements, and provide input on future technology purchases. * Perform other technology and library-related duties as assigned.
