## About the Role

* Minimum 3 years' of Java 8 based Web Application development experience with a strong understanding of Core Java fundamentals.
 * Experience with WebSphere or any application server JBoss, Tomcat, etc.
 * Expertise in working with JSP and servlets.
 * Strong OOD OOP skills.
 * Experience using modern front-end frameworks (JavaScript) like Angular, React, Vue, etc. to improve front end functionality.
 * Experience in remediating vulnerabilities identified in penetration testing.
 * Ability to articulate and document a detailed technical design.
 * Analyze and revises existing system logic and provides concise documentation.
 * Provide support and enhancements to legacy production systems.
 * Perform review of code from team members and ability to mentor team members
 * Hands-on experience with SQL server, DB2 knowledge a plus
 * Work both independently and as a strong team player to deliver quality technology solutions.
 * Minimum education required is a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or directly related field.

## Description

RedMane has a full-time opportunity for a Java Developer/Analyst as we continue to grow our Chicago based practice. As a Developer/Analyst you will provide system analysis, development and production support as part of a project team. The Developer/Analyst will design functional and technical approaches to create and customize functionality. The Developer/Analyst is also responsible for the execution of testing, training, support of user testing and customer support post implementation.
