 * Hardware configuration
 * Network technologies
 * Web site administration.
 * Hospitality software experience beneficial

## Description

IT Specialist performs a variety of computer systems LAN/WAN administration and support tasks, including analyzing, constructing, documenting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting of LAN/WAN, computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripherals and communication devices for the entire organization. Exercises judgment and decision making in the diagnosis and resolution of LAN/WAN, computer hardware and software problems. Responsible for providing customer service and technical support for end users. Responsible for partnering with multiple departments in order to evaluate and understand complex business problems, their technical implications, propose and develop solutions. Responsible for developing customized reports from databases to extract and collect data according to management needs. Responsible for maintaining and updating organization's websites., Assist with providing Systems Administration, including maintaining user/group accounts, user configuration, trouble-shooting access problems and completion of on-site documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with MSSQL DB. Assist in making changes on the organizations website.

 * Understand, program and administer organization's database structures.
 * Assist in Server infrastructure management, performance monitoring, Operating System upgrades and troubleshooting.
 * Maintain and update organization's websites.
 * Assist in the process of systems backup and recovery procedures.
 * Develop custom reports or modify existing reports to meet various organization needs.
 * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
 * Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret technical documentation in English.
 * Troubleshoot Digital and Analog phone systems and components.
 * Assist the Desktop Support team with troubleshooting, diagnosing, resolution when needed. (Workstations, Printers and Software)
 * Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
 * Provide after-hours support for emergencies on a rotating schedule.
 * Oversees IS Department in absence of IS Manager.
 * Other duties as assigned.
