## About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mainframe Project Manager to lead large-scale mainframe infrastructure, engineering, modernization, and resiliency initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong project leadership with mainframe expertise and a proven track record managing complex enterprise programs, cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, and vendors., * 10+ years of IT Project and/or Program Management experience

 * 7+ years managing Mainframe Infrastructure or Mainframe Engineering projects
 * PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification
 * Proven success leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives
 * Experience managing complex projects involving multiple technical teams, stakeholders, budgets, timelines, and delivery commitments
 * Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical production environments

Mainframe Expertise

 * IBM zSystems and z/OS infrastructure
 * Mainframe engineering, operations, and infrastructure lifecycle management
 * Mainframe modernization, hardware/software upgrades, and technology transformation initiatives
 * Capacity planning, performance management, and platform optimization
 * Disaster recovery, business continuity, and resiliency programs
 * Automation, platform engineering, and operational efficiency initiatives

Leadership & Project Management Skills

 * Executive stakeholder, vendor, financial, resource, risk, and issue management
 * Project and program governance across complex enterprise initiatives
 * Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies
 * Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills

## Description

* Lead delivery of mainframe infrastructure, modernization, migration, resiliency, and technology refresh initiatives
 * Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, governance, and deliverables
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive successful project outcomes
 * Provide executive reporting, stakeholder communications, issue resolution, and strategic guidance
 * Ensure compliance with PMO standards, change management processes, and delivery commitments
