## About the Role

Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date, * Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.

 * Experience with System Integration and Test Environments.
 * Experience with telemetry systems.

Qualifications We Prefer

 * Experience working in a Matrix environment.
 * Knowledge of telemetry airborne and ground station systems design and integration.
 * Experience with RF and signal processing related to telemetry systems.
 * Experience with authoring and delivering technical presentations such as design reviews, test readiness reviews and technical documentation.
 * Hands on experience using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, signal generators, RF transmitter, RF receivers and other RF components.
 * Knowledge of GPS timing and distribution.
 * Knowledge of test equipment design, architecture, component selection and fabrication.

## Description

* Develop, update, and maintain system requirements, concepts of operations, and interface definitions related to telemetry.
 * Develop new or upgrades to Legacy ground support processing equipment.
 * Research and evaluate, validate and document replacement telemetry system material and equipment for ground station deployment.
 * Conduct trade studies and present findings to stakeholders to support technical decision-making.
 * Develop integration documentation, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
 * Present technical findings project goals, risks, analysis reports, and technical documentation including architectural views to both internal and external customers.
 * Travel is needed to support mission execution at RTX facilities, test sites, vendor locations, and customer environments.
