## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
 * Strong experience with computer architecture analysis, system-level design, and architectural tradeoff evaluation
 * Experience with large-scale server systems, including memory and storage subsystems
 * Proficiency in C/C++ programming, including use of the C++ Standard Template Library (STL)
 * Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, * Master's or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
 * Experience with memory and storage controller architectures, DDR, NVDIMM, DRAM, NAND, or related memory technologies
 * Experience working with Claude or other Agentic tools in order to develop tools, perform analysis, and optimize code.
 * Knowledge of operating system memory management, firmware, and software development practices
 * Experience using Python, SystemC, or similar modeling and simulation frameworks

## Description

* Develop and evaluate innovative memory and storage subsystem architectures to improve system power and performance
 * Perform system-level modeling and simulation to compare new architectural concepts against existing solutions
 * Design models for controllers, memory devices, processors, interconnects, and related system components
 * Analyze application workloads and memory/storage access patterns to identify optimization opportunities
 * Collaborate across hardware, firmware, software, and architecture teams to assess tradeoffs and drive architectural decisions
