Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements., * Minimum of three (3) years telecommunications experience. * Solid understanding of network technologies and communications protocols. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to work with minimal supervision. * Experience on Ciena, Cisco, Juniper, MRV, Infinera, and ADVA platforms. Organizational Relationship ## Description The Global Network Operations NOC Lead will oversee the configuration, layout, and maintenance of the entire network. This person will also analyze, supply feedback, look for trends and provide additional technical support to the Network Control Center. The Global Network Operations NOC Lead will also research and evaluate the network through our NMS tool and recommend needs where applicable. This role will also include interaction with our customer base to provide support, status and direction to ongoing initiatives. The Global Network Operations NOC Lead will need to be well versed with the administration of a heterogeneous network across multiple platforms. The Analyst will work cross-functionally with internal departments, external vendors and the NOC team to coordinate corrective actions, resolve issues, provide documentation as well as metrics of the performance within our deployed infrastructure.
