This role oversees a team of network security engineers and analysts responsible for securing on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures through the implementation of firewalls, secure access solutions, segmentation technologies, threat prevention platforms, and security monitoring capabilities. The Senior Manager, Network Security partners closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security Operations, Risk, Architecture, Application Development, and business stakeholders to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems and data. This leader drives continuous improvement, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic modernization initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on service reliability and cyber risk reduction. What you will be doing ? Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Network Security Engineers, Analysts, and Technical Leads. ? Define team goals, performance metrics, development plans, and succession strategies. ? Establish operational standards, engineering practices, and service management processes. ? Manage staffing, budgeting, vendor relationships, and strategic planning activities. ? Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. ? Develop and execute the enterprise network security roadmap aligned with business objectives and cybersecurity strategy. ? Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Security Architecture teams on future-state designs. ? Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging security technologies and best practices. ? Define standards for secure network design across campuses, data centers, cloud environments, and remote access services. ? Ensure security architectures support scalability, resilience, and regulatory requirements. ? Oversee design, implementation, and support of: o Next-generation firewalls o Secure web gateways o Network access control (NAC) o VPN and remote access solutions o Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) o Software-Defined Perimeter (SDP) technologies o Microsegmentation platforms o Cloud network security controls o DNS and DDI security services o Network intrusion prevention systems (IPS) o DDoS protection solutions ? Lead firewall policy governance, rule lifecycle management, and security policy optimization initiatives. ? Ensure high availability and performance of network security platforms. ?
