Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience managing and maintaining Red Hat Linux and VMware environments is necessary. 2-5 years of experience in a hybrid enterprise infrastructure (On-Prem & Cloud) is also required. Technical Skills: * Experience with upgrading and patching using Red Hat Satellite is required. * Proficiency in scripting to create, modify, and execute automated system functions is required. * Experience with backup, recovery, and data protection utilities such as Avamar or Veeam is required. * Familiarity with HPE ProLiant and Synergy server infrastructure is required. * A solid understanding of Linux OS protocols and services, including NFS, TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP(s), is required. * Proficiency in automation tools, CI/CD processes, configuration, and scripting languages is required. * Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is required., * Experience with Ansible Automation Platform is a plus. * Experience with storage provisioning and managing SAN architecture, particularly HPE Alletra Storage Array Administration, is a plus. * Experience with Oracle database and application support is a plus. ## Description This role is responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of environments with servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMware ESXi on HPE hardware and in the Azure Cloud.
