## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
 * 1-3 years min. as Test Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
 * Hands on experience with general laboratory electronic instruments such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, voltmeters, power supplies, data acquisition systems, force, pressure, displacement, velocity transducers, and accelerometer is a must.
 * LabVIEW, MATLAB, and Visual Basic skills a preference
 * CAD, Solid Works, or other 3-D CAD systems experience.
 * Must possess strong communication skills.
 * Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other design software to complete design and specification of test equipment.

## Description

* Designs and specifies test equipment, endurance rigs, instrumentation, and fixtures required to test and qualify Enidine products to defined specifications.
 * Builds hardware, writes software profiles and debugs the test system.
 * Develops and validates test equipment and test setups required to test Enidine products.
 * Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D printers.
 * Helps establish and write Qualification Test Plans, Qualification Test Procedures, Acceptance Test Procedures, and Qualification Test Reports to defined specifications.
 * Helps establish and write detailed testing instructions for test technicians and operators.
 * Works with Manufacturing Engineering to review production test fixture designs and helps validate production test fixtures.
 * Collaborates with other groups including design, manufacturing, and purchasing.
 * Works with outside test facilities to co-ordinate testing as required to meet customer requirements.
 * Coordinates all activities concerned with test fixtures, machines, scheduling, costing, and resolving test problems.
 * Writes macros to efficiently process test data.
 * Helps update existing test systems.
 * Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.
 * Prepares and monitors progress of equipment schedules.
 * Runs testing and documents test set-up parameters and results as required.
 * Works with Design Engineering to report and interpret test setup and results.
 * Works with minimal supervision from Test Management.
