## About the Role

We are seeking an ETL Focused Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Python, and ETL tools and a proven ability to design, build, and support data warehouse solutions that meet business and enterprise requirements., * Strong SQL skills with knowledge of clean coding practices and ability to articulate design decisions.

 * Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle Exadata.
 * Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including data modeling, data marts, and business intelligence.
 * Experience with ETL tools, preferably Informatica.
 * Familiarity with Autosys or similar orchestration and scheduling tools.
 * Interest in data problem-solving and designing transformation solutions using new and existing tools.

Preferred Skills:

 * Exposure or self-education in Unix scripting.
 * Exposure or self-education in Python for data processing, including Pandas and DataFrames.
 * Exposure to CI/CD tools and practices such as Ansible and Jenkins.
 * Exposure to Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
 * Experience designing and building data warehouses with knowledge of end-to-end data flows.
 * Willingness to learn and solve problems outside the current skill set.
 * Experience with Agile development methodologies.

## Description

* Design and develop ETL processes to load and transform data for the data warehouse and data marts.
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
 * Implement and optimize SQL code following sound coding practices and standards.
 * Support orchestration and scheduling of data pipelines using tools such as Autosys or equivalent.
