This leader also provides oversight for the disaster response and special projects teams. This executive also leads the day-to-day execution of the enterprise-wide Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon emissions reduction project for acute care hospital energy consumption. The leader is responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide strategy and implementation of short- and long-term capital plans, providing data-driven guidance and investment strategies. This key leader will identify strategic opportunities to drive improved key performance indicators across multiple parameters including care experience, quality, operations, and finance. This position leads development and implementation of initiatives that support operational improvement and expense management through the standardization of processes, technology, and service excellence. The VP of Engineering builds strategic alliances with HCA Corporate, Division and Facility leadership, Supply Chain and HealthTrust leadership and facility-based support services department directors for successful execution of services.
