Maintain and improve Reliability Databases to assess reliability performance through system life cycle, provide trend analysis, develop and monitor reliability growth. * Ability to develop Reliability and Maintainability Models and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs). * Conduct Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). * Ability to impact design through clear and concise Reliability & Maintainability analysis and design requirements. * Possess the ability to develop and communicate new concepts; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and, determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, with assistance, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of complex problems. * Have strong communication, computer, technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills * Support the Design Assurance process and other related design review milestones (i.e., PDR, CDR, etc.). * Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team, and able to perform multiple and complex tasks in one or more engineering areas., * Typically requires a bachelors or masters degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelors degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education. * Must have a basic understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory. * Demonstrates the ability to follow and apply basic engineering knowledge, adapt standard techniques, and utilize the required diagnostics, tools and equipment, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. * Must be able to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment. * Ability to impact design through clear and concise Reliability & Maintainability analysis and design requirements. * Good communication, computer, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other professionals, to produce appropriate documentation, and to present results to a limited internal audience. * Must be able to work both independently and on a team. * Able to work extended hours as required. * Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required. ## Description General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc.
