## About the Role

MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Systems Administrator** to join our team in **Aurora, Colorado., + Bachelor's degree in technical discipline; an additional 5 years of systems administration experience might be substituted for a degree.

 + 15+ years' experience as a Systems Administrator or in related IT roles.

 + Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

 + Familiarity with Windows.

Preferred Qualifications:

 + Experience with cloud infrastructure administration, preferably AWS.

Clearance Requirements:

 + Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

 + Needs to be able to provide hardware transferring support.

 + Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

## Description

+ Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.

 + Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.

 + Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

 + Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

 + Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.

 + Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.

 + Configure and manage Linux and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems, install/loads operating system software, troubleshoot.

 + Maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
