## Description

We are looking for a talented Site Quality Engineer to join our team specializing in quality for our Cummins' business in Hartford, CT.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

**Lead effective containment and corrective action processes** to quickly resolve customer issues and prevent recurrence

**Ensure products and processes** meet quality standards (IATF, APQP, PPAP) to maintain compliance and customer satisfaction

**Support change management and VPI initiatives** by validating product and process performance and enabling data-driven decisions

**Serve as a quality subject matter expert** , providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams

**Drive continuous improvement** using Lean, problem-solving methodologies, and quality tools to enhance performance and reduce defects

**Support and conduct quality audits** to ensure adherence to internal and external standards

**Contribute to safe and successful product launches** by supporting Safe Launch and verification activities

**Apply AIAG core tools** to strengthen quality planning, risk mitigation, and overall process reliability

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

**Prioritize customer focus and quality outcomes** by building strong relationships and ensuring products and processes consistently meet customer and regulatory expectations

**Leverage quality tools and methodologies** (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC) along with statistical analysis to drive effective problem solving, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement

**Apply manufacturing and measurement expertise** to validate processes, reduce variation, and ensure reliable, high-quality production outputs

**Influence outcomes through strong communication and project management** by engaging stakeholders, aligning priorities, and driving balanced, data-informed decisions while embracing diverse perspectives
