 * Experience working with legacy code.
 * Hands-on experience migrating applications from on-prem to AWS or Azure.
 * Experience with containerization and cloud-native application design.
 * Practical experience using AI-enabled software development tools.
 * Strong communication skills with technical, non-technical, and external stakeholders.
 * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
 * Experience in a smaller company or startup environment and the ability to mentor other engineers is highly valued.
 * Spring, Entra ID (Azure AD), Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, and multi-cloud experience are a plus.

## Description

* Design, develop, and support enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and React.
 * Modernize legacy applications and migrate systems from on-prem to AWS or Azure.
 * Build cloud-native, containerized applications and API-driven integrations.
 * Work with cloud databases, messaging, serverless, containers, API management, secrets management, and monitoring.
 * Improve CI/CD and DevOps practices.
 * Use AI-enabled development tools for coding, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
 * Spend approximately 50% of the role mentoring three junior engineers.
 * Own and support at least 10 company applications or integrations.
 * Participate in architecture, design, and technical roadmap decisions.
