Desired Skills * Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower * Familiarity with Java and object oriented development * Ability to read and troubleshoot application source code, ASCII logs and XML logs Ability to perform basic SQL operations in a MySQL environment ## Description As a software integration engineer on the GMD Weapon System (GWS) Fire Control (GFC) team, you will support the integration of software components and subsystems within complex system-of-systems environments. The role involves troubleshooting software, interface, build, configuration, and integration issues while supporting software deployments, testing, and verification activities. The engineer works closely with software, systems, test, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues and ensure successful system performance., Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
