The role will require regular driving to customer and network sites, as well as occasional last-minute travel to London and Manchester to support operational requirements, deployments, or critical incidents., * Proven experience in a Level 2 Network Engineer or similar role * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching * Experience in a telecoms or ISP environment * Hands-on experience with technologies such as MPLS, VPNs, VoIP, and WAN connectivity * Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing systems * Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and work to strict SLAs * Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly Desirable Skills & Qualifications * Industry certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent) * Experience with vendor equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar * Knowledge of fibre, Ethernet, and last-mile connectivity * Basic scripting or automation experience Personal Attributes * Methodical and detail-oriented * Strong problem-solving mindset * Able to work independently on-site * Team-focused with a proactive attitude * Comfortable working in a small team environment with changing priorities and occasional urgent travel requirements ## Description We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Network Engineer to provide on-site technical support and operational management of our telecoms network infrastructure.
