Based in Gaithersburg, MD, this position allows for a combination of on-site and remote work. Responsibilities include providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining computer systems, assisting users through a helpdesk, and ensuring IT systems operate efficiently. The candidate will liaise with clients to resolve IT-related inquiries and contribute to maintaining and improving network infrastructure.This position is hybird at this time but may change to a full in office position . We are a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting small and mid-size businesses across the DC metro area. Our environments include Microsoft 365, Azure, and Google Workspace across multiple client networks. We are looking for a Support Engineer with MSP experience who can troubleshoot infrastructure, cloud platforms, and networking issues across multiple client environments. This role includes remote support as well as onsite visits to client locations when needed., Cloud Platforms * Microsoft 365 administration * Azure AD / Entra ID * Google Workspace administration Systems * Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) * Active Directory * User and identity management Networking * DNS and DHCP troubleshooting * VPN Configuration and connectivity issues * Firewall troubleshooting * Vlan Configuration MSP Tools * Experience with RMM platforms (Datto, NinjaOne, Kaseya, etc.) * Experience with PSA systems (ConnectWise, Autotask, etc.) Endpoint Management * Intune, Google endpoint management, or similar tools Responsibilities * Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and cloud issues * Provide remote and onsite technical support for client environments * Manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments * Support Windows Server and Active Directory * Diagnose network connectivity and DNS issues * Perform onsite troubleshooting, deployments, and hardware support * Monitor systems using RMM tools * Document troubleshooting steps and system configurations Location preference: Gaithersburg, MD or nearby. Onsite client support required as needed Nice to Have * CompTIA Network+ or Security+ * Microsoft or Google certifications * Experience with Azure or Intune * Basic scripting (PowerShell) Important This role is intended for candidates with real IT and network experince / MSP technical experience.
