The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a practical, detail-oriented developer who can turn spend management requirements into reliable agent workflows. They are comfortable working across technical and business teams, understand the importance of accuracy in financial and procurement processes, and can support production experiences with strong follow-through. ## Description We are looking for a Spend Agent Developer to help build and support AI-enabled spend management workflows. This role will work closely with product, operations, finance, procurement, and platform teams to develop reliable agent capabilities that improve purchasing, invoice, PO, vendor, and approval-related workflows. The Spend Agent Developer will help translate business and operational requirements into practical agent workflows, system integrations, and automation capabilities. This role requires strong hands-on development skills, attention to production quality, and the ability to support and improve spend-related agent experiences after release. This role is intended for an execution-focused developer who can contribute to implementation, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of spend agent capabilities. Responsibilities: * Build and support AI-enabled spend agent workflows across purchasing, procurement, invoice, PO, vendor, and approval processes. * Implement agent capabilities that support workflow automation, handoffs, system integrations, data validation, and operational support needs. * Partner with product, AI Platform, QA/Eval, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Support teams to deliver spend agent functionality with quality and reliability. * Assist with monitoring, debugging, regression testing, release readiness, and post-release issue resolution. * Translate business process requirements into practical technical solutions and production-ready agent workflows. * Identify recurring spend management patterns that may be improved through automation, reusable workflows, or platform capabilities. * Support escalations and continuous improvement for live spend agent experiences., Spend Agent capacity is important to improving operational efficiency, reducing manual effort, supporting procurement and finance workflows, and increasing reliability across purchasing, invoice, PO, and vendor-related processes.
