Travel to Royal Plus locations and mobile command centers may also be required., * IT support: 2 years (Required) ## Description Position Overview: The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support and assistance to employees while helping ensure the smooth operation of company hardware, software, applications, and technology systems.The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver and communicator who can work independently, support employees at all levels of the organization, and collaborate with Royal Plus's IT management partner on technology projects and initiatives. What You'll Do * Provide day-to-day technical support to employees, including account setup, password resets, access permissions, and basic hardware and software troubleshooting. * Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including phones, email accounts, laptops, desktops, company applications, and other devices. * Train employees on Microsoft 365, company software, IT policies, hardware, and new technologies. * Evaluate individual and team training needs and develop training materials and procedures. * Assist with technology projects, including system upgrades, hardware deployments, software rollouts, and implementation of new technology. * Serve as a point of contact for cybersecurity and breach-prevention activities and contribute to the development of a strong security culture. * Utilize the company's IT ticketing system to track issues and ensure problems are documented and resolved. * Maintain technology inventory and asset-tracking information in coordination with IT management and Administration. * Help evaluate software licensing needs and ensure licenses are properly managed. * Set up cellular devices and other handheld technology using the company's mobile device management platform. * Develop a strong working knowledge of Royal Plus applications in order to troubleshoot basic issues. * Assist with digital and virtual training programs. * Maintain an understanding of the location and purpose of company digital files. * Communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization as well as the company's IT provider. * Support technology preparation for catastrophe events and mobile command centers when needed. * Travel to Royal Plus locations as necessary for IT-related needs. * Work effectively both independently and as part of a team while willingly assisting coworkers and sharing knowledge. ## Related Videos - [Your Manager Doesn’t Come with a User Manual (But You Can Totally Write One)](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1495-your-manager-doesn-t-come-with-a-user-manual-but-you-can-totally-write-one) - [Kettle and Pot or Peas in a Pod?
