## Description

We are seeking a Data Science Contractor to join a centralized Data Analytics & AI team supporting enterprise-wide analytics and machine learning initiatives.

This role focuses on designing, building, and validating high-quality datasets that power analytics, forecasting, reporting, and AI solutions. You will work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business problems into structured, analytics-ready data assets.

Success in this role is measured by the quality, usability, and business impact of the datasets you deliver., * Translate business requirements into well-structured datasets

 * Use SQL and Python to extract, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources
 * Design transformations including joins, aggregations, and feature creation
 * Build repeatable data preparation workflows
 * Implement data validation and quality checks
 * Investigate discrepancies and improve data consistency
 * Document schemas, logic, and business rules
 * Provide clean datasets to support modeling, experimentation, and dashboards
