As the CIO's second-in-command, this role leads cybersecurity operations, enterprise systems, infrastructure resilience, GIS, and major technology initiatives that keep County services secure and running efficiently. We're looking for an innovative and decisive leader ready to tackle complex challenges, strengthen cybersecurity defenses, and help shape the future of County technology. Direct Reports: The Deputy CIO directly supervises the IS Manager and serves as the primary personnel authority for that position including performance evaluation, disciplinary matters, and day-to day directions. In the Deputy CIO's absence, IS Manager will report to the Deputy County Manager., * Work is performed in an office environment; may be subject to repetitive motion such as typing, data entry and vision to monitor; may be subject to extended periods of intense concentration in the review of documents and reports. * The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. * Required to sign and adhere to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary company information as part of daily duties. * Work schedule for this position may include working on religious holidays. * Utilize, process, and navigate the County's electronic ERP system as necessary and appropriate based on the needs and requirements of this position. * This position may be eligible for an alternative worksite arrangement, in accordance with County policy and at the discretion of the Department Head., The list that follows is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities.
