## About the Role

* 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related role
 * Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
 * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
 * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
 * Experience working with Docker or other containerization technologies
 * Familiarity with source control platforms such as GitHub
 * Understanding of cloud networking concepts, identity management, and security best practices
 * Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting infrastructure issues
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desired Skills & Experience

 * Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
 * Exposure to Kubernetes environments
 * Experience managing cloud security posture and compliance initiatives
 * Familiarity with Akamai or other CDN/security platforms
 * Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
 * Experience working within hybrid or multi-cloud environments
 * Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools
 * Background supporting highly available customer-facing applications

## Description

A leading publicly traded media organization headquartered in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join its growing technology team. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week. The organization is known for its strong reputation within the media industry, continued profitability, and commitment to innovation. The ideal candidate will bring experience working within a public cloud environment, ideally AWS along with Infrastructure as Code experience using tools such as Terraform., * 35% Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

 * 25% Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
 * 20% CI/CD & Automation (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
 * 10% Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
 * 10% Security, Networking & Identity Management

Daily Responsibilities

 * 40% Infrastructure provisioning, maintenance, and optimization
 * 25% CI/CD pipeline development and automation initiatives
 * 15% Containerized application deployments and support
 * 10% Cloud security, networking, and identity management
 * 10% Team collaboration, troubleshooting, and operational improvements
