The position is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying software components that align with the agency's mission and statewide technical standards. This position has direct responsibility for managing the IT development and business analyst staff, and the section's budget applicable to agency IT development and maintenance for all business applications. In addition, this position is a member of the agency's extended leadership team. Hybrid: Although this is a hybrid opportunity, the successful incumbent must reside within Washington state and must be available to report to the Lacey, Washington headquarters building when needed. Travel: Local travel, mostly within Thurston County, may be required to attend training and meetings. This role is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing software solutions that adhere to enterprise-wide policies, security standards, and architectural frameworks. This position contributes to the modernization of legacy systems, supports the integration of new technologies, and ensures the continuous functionality of critical applications that align with agency and statewide operational goals.
