Bachelor's Degree preferred * In lieu of a degree, 2 years of related experience is required (SOC experience, IT Security experience in detection, triage, investigation, and remediation) * Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Demonstrate creative problem solving and solutioning * Ability to work effectively, independently and within a team environment * Ability to handle, protect and preserve highly confidential information * Understanding of programming/scripting code (Python, PowerShell, Bash) * Understanding of both Linux and Windows operating systems * Understanding of networking concepts and technologies * Understanding of adversarial techniques (i.e., MITRE framework) * Must be organized and comfortable with ongoing changes in priorities ## Description This position supports security information, incident response, forensics, threat intelligence, and event monitoring functions within the Security Operations Center (SOC). The role focuses on monitoring events and logs from Information Technology, Cyber Security, and Physical Security data feeds and building out analytics based on adversarial behaviors.
