Preferred: * Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks. * Proficiency with PySpark / Spark for large-scale data processing. * Experience with Power BI. * Background in software development / software engineering (application development, APIs, testing, design patterns) beyond pure data pipelines. * Relevant certifications, e.g. Databricks Certified Data Engineer (Associate/Professional) or Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Data Engineer. ## Description As a Data Engineer, you'll design, develop, and implement cloud-based data and analytics platforms (DAP) and pipelines that acquire, cleanse, transform, and publish data from a wide variety of sources. Beyond building robust data solutions, you'll partner closely with business stakeholders, architects, and analytics teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, influence how data is structured and consumed, and help shape engineering standards across the team.
