Ability to design, test and troubleshoot systems were multiple stand-alone electrical and electronic components are connected to work together. · Electrical Wiring - Must know how to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics. · Root Cause Analysis - Must demonstrate the ability to understand causal effects and establish a structured approach to identify and validate potential causes for that undesirable behavior. Experience Required: · Design/Develop program specific electrical system schematics · Support electrical device transmittal process: BSEM GDT Set-up, Create DT Status Report · Develop program specific system FMEA and DVP (Validation Plans) Prototype Breadboards (parts list development & sign-off, validation, sign-off) Prototype Vehicle Builds (Yellowboard software flashing and configuration, functional sign-off, & troubleshooting) · Lead compatibility reviews to verify all module and wiring interfaces · Support builds at production plant Experience : · Electrical schematics design · CAN Network · ECU software flashing and diagnostics · Root Cause Analysis Education Required: · Bachelor's Degree Education : · Master's Degree ## Description As a Systems Integration Engineer, the successful candidate will design, implement and validate vehicle electrical systems by reviewing and approving device transmittals, developing vehicle-level logical schematics, conducting design/compatibility reviews, defining fusing and grounding strategies, supporting system-level validation/diagnostics, providing technical support for prototype and pre-production builds. You will also perform System Level tests for ECU integration by flashing ECU software and calibration files, performing configuration, commanding and analyzing self-test results, and performing functional tests., Hybrid (4 days per week in the office / Can be 5-6 days depending on prototype and launch build needs.) Engineers working on the design phase are required to be in the office 4 days a week.
