This is a hands-on, dual-mandate role: the Solutions Architect must be equally comfortable translating enterprise architecture direction into practical, buildable solution designs and upholding the governance discipline - standards, documentation, and enforcement - that keeps a large, multi-team modernization program architecturally consistent. Candidates who can operate credibly in both modes, working shoulder-to-shoulder with delivery teams while also defending standards in governance forums, are strongly preferred., * Translate enterprise architecture direction, technical standards, and business requirements into actionable solution designs, interface patterns, and implementation approaches. * Work directly with developers, technical leads, and architects on feature delivery teams to ensure solution designs are understood and correctly implemented. * Review technical designs, implementation approaches, and development work products to identify architecture deviations, integration risks, and design gaps. * Turn high-level architectural direction into practical, buildable solutions that fit program constraints, delivery timelines, and team capacity. * Support architecture execution across multiple teams, releases, and program increments in an Agile / iterative delivery environment. * Support the definition, documentation, and dissemination of architecture standards, solution patterns, integration approaches, and implementation guidance across the program. * Support the implementation and enforcement of cross-cutting architecture requirements, including API design, data exchange patterns, cloud architecture standards, security considerations, performance, scalability, and maintainability. * Identify and escalate architecture deviations, integration risks, and opportunities for standardization or reuse. * Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect, Security Engineer, Product teams, and feature development teams to keep architectural governance current and enforceable, not just documented. ## Related Videos - [Building Well-Architected applications](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/691-building-well-architected-applications) - [API Design - Getting Started](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/33-api-design-getting-started) - [DevSecOps: Injecting Security into Mobile CI/CD Pipelines](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/273-devsecops-injecting-security-into-mobile-ci-cd-pipelines) - [Next Level Enterprise Architecture: Modular, Flexible, Scalable, Multichannel and AI-Ready?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1017-next-level-enterprise-architecture-modular-flexible-scalable-multichannel-and-ai-ready) - [Rest API Antipatterns](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100208-rest-api-antipatterns) - [DevSecOps: Security in DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/36-devsecops-security-in-devops) ## Related Articles - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers) - [Events like RSAC Get You CISOs.
