## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
 * Experience with requirements management tools like DOORs, Polarion, or similar
 * Must be a U.S. Citizen
 * This position is for an on-site role in Vergennes, VT

Qualifications We Prefer

 * Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML and Simulink toolsets
 * Familiarity with industry standards ARP4754, DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, ARP4761 or similar

## Description

* Interface with customers to understand high-level operational goals, conceptual designs, and requirements to generate system requirements
 * Lead full product lifecycle development from requirements and design to integration, qualification, and field deployment
 * Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
 * Develop system and subsystem architectures, defining boundaries and evaluating design trade-offs
 * Translate system requirements into hardware and software requirements

 * Direct cross-functional Engineering teams (Software, Mechanical, and Electrical) by delegating tasks to achieve technical objectives and resolving conflicts real time.

 * Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies
