This role exists to take the small technical work off the CEO and the dev team, onboarding tech, hardware setup, fixes, and physical IT support. So higher value people aren't pulled into laptop builds and desk setups. Level: Junior. This is a hands-on support/setup role, NOT a network engineer, sysadmin, or developer. Strong fit for someone early-career who is reliable, hands-on, and wants to grow. Status: Full-time (minimum). Willingness to stay late when the operation needs it is expected and valued - this role rewards people who show they want to be here. Compensation: $40,000-$42,000/year salary. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. New Hire Technology Onboarding (recurring: primary work) Set up laptops for every new hire (image, software, accounts, security) Set up company phones (device, lines, apps: Telegram, Zoom, Samsara, Dialpad, etc.) Create/configure email accounts (Google Workspace) and access. Set up the new hire's desk/workstation. Monitor, dock, peripherals, cabling. Ensure every new hire is fully equipped and logged in on Day 1 Given GH's active hiring pipeline, this alone is steady, recurring work. 2. Hardware Setup & Repair Set up new computers/workstations Fix/troubleshoot computers (hardware + basic software issues) Printers, monitors, peripherals, wifi/connectivity troubleshooting Maintain a basic inventory of equipment and supplies. 3. Equipment Movement & Support Move, stage, and set up equipment as the operation requires (desks, workstations, hardware) Support office reconfigurations and the new office buildout (workstations, network drops, printers, displays) Physical IT support across the SA office. 4. Accounts & Access (basic) Manage user accounts in Google Workspace (create, disable, reset) Password resets and basic access provisioning Coordinate with the dev team for anything beyond junior scope (systems, MONARC, security) WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (first 60-90 days) Every new hire fully set up Day 1.
