This role requires 8+ years of progressive database administration experience, including 5+ years with Oracle and 3+ years with MS SQL and PostgreSQL, along with 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity. The DBA Manager will be responsible for overseeing database infrastructure strategy, managing a team of DBAs, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our database systems supporting our growing customer base., Team Leadership & Management: * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of database administrators, fostering technical growth and career development. * Establish team goals, conduct performance reviews, and manage workload distribution across the DBA team. * Build and maintain a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. * Recruit, onboard, and retain top database talent to support organizational growth. * Define on-call rotation schedules and ensure adequate 24/7 coverage for production systems. Strategic Planning & Architecture: * Develop and execute the database infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives and growth projections. * Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level database solutions to meet current and future business requirements. * Evaluate emerging database technologies, cloud platforms, and tools to drive innovation and efficiency. * Partner with application development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure cohesive technical solutions. * Define and maintain database standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
