## About the Role

* High school diploma or GED required.
 * Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
 * 2+ years of computer programing is helpful.
 * The ability to constantly walk and move frequently throughout a large facility and to push/pull carry and otherwise move heavy objects.
 * General knowledge of the practices and procedures of a convention center, hotel conference services, waterpark, theme park environment helpful.
 * Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset, the ability to support guests and operational teams, and a collaborative approach to working across departments and assisting teammates as needed.

## Description

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an IT Tier I Technician. In this role, you will be part of an IT team responsible for performing technical assistance to the Resort and Convention Center's IT systems., * Installs selected software, maintaining proper security levels and access rights.

 * Ensures the quality of systems operations in all areas of the company, by communicating with all levels of systems users and offering direction and assistance as needed.
 * Facilitates the flow of information throughout the IT Department, by attending regularly scheduled department meetings and participating in daily stand-up meetings.
 * Ensure a maximum level of service and satisfaction to all systems users is achieved and maintained.
 * Conduct an inventory of all systems on property and maintain accurate records by updating information as needed.
 * Maintain a working knowledge of all appropriate software and network applications.
