## Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Planner/Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials and ensuring that production schedules are met efficiently. You will play a crucial part in supply chain management, collaborating with various departments to optimize inventory levels and streamline procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials management, production planning, and experience with ERP systems.
Duties

 * Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
 * Utilize SAP for effective materials planning and procurement processes.
 * Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials while managing supplier relationships.
 * Implement MRP strategies to optimize inventory control and reduce excess stock.
 * Monitor inventory levels, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory management.
 * Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify material needs and resolve any supply chain issues.
 * Analyze demand planning data to adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
 * Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying areas for process improvement within the supply chain.
 * Manage contracts related to purchasing and supplier agreements to ensure compliance with company policies.
 * Oversee logistics operations related to material handling and warehouse management.
