* Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of computer systems, software applications and automated systems concepts, practices and policies with the ability to use them in complex varied situations.

 * Ability to act as a team leader, creating a collaborative and respectful team environment and improving workflows.
 * Meticulous attention to detail in identifying patterns and malfunctions within data systems that may otherwise be overlooked., Six (6) years experience is required.

## Description

Under limited supervision, responsible for monitoring data center operations and maintenance activities and performing associated tasks with operating an enterprise-level multi-server computer environment. Leads or mentors lower level team members., ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE OR RELATED FIELD AND 6 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE NEEDED

 * Performs and supports lower level team members with basic tasks in the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of data center hardware, equipment and peripherals to include network cabling, installations and decommissions.
 * Continuously observes system/server availability and backup job operations.
 * Troubleshoots according to established knowledge base and procedures; reports, escalates, and documents system alerts and backup job failures to appropriate support personnel.
 * Evaluates and recognizes data center systems/environment failures and hardware malfunctions.
 * Confers with software systems engineering or applications programming personnel in the event errors require a change of instructions or sequence of operations.
 * Conducts routine checks, power audits and operational logistics.
 * Submits, reviews, tracks and maintains records of facilities maintenance requests, activity/incident reports, and required logs.
 * Performs Tier 1 ticket requests and supports lower level team members.
 * Follows operational procedures to troubleshoot and resolve system problems.
 * Performs all other duties as assigned.
