## Description

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to help build and evolve Crunchyroll's connected-device applications.

In this role, you will develop and maintain high-performance streaming experiences on Roku while contributing to shared client architecture, reusable application frameworks, and cross-platform capabilities used across connected devices. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and fellow software engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-focused experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong development experience with modern software engineering practices and a solid understanding of TypeScript, client-side application architecture, and maintainable frontend systems.

In the role of Software Engineer II, Frontend, you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager, LRX Core., * Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high standards for code quality, testing, reliability, and documentation.

 * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across application layers, including platform-specific behavior, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
 * Optimize application startup time, memory usage, responsiveness, and playback experiences across connected-device environments.
 * Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers while helping improve team processes, technical standards, and knowledge sharing.
 * Create and maintain clear technical documentation for systems, architecture decisions, development workflows, and feature implementations.
