This role is ideal for engineers who combine strong technical skills with sound engineering judgment and curiosity. You will develop test plans, conduct tests and analyze results to characterize and validate components and systems. You'll work closely with mechanical, aerodynamics, chemical, and electrical engineers, and skilled technicians to validate complex systems in a laboratory environment. Work and Surrounding Environment: * Variety. A research, design, and development company engaged in several projects at any given time related to design and development of gas turbine engines, turbine gensets, compact high-temperature heat exchangers, and high-speed generators. * Technical Challenge. Extreme and varied measurement needs, often with high accuracy required. * Talented and Creative Colleagues. Team with other creative Engineers and highly capable support staff (Designers/Drafters, Mechanical and Electrical Technicians, Precision Machinists). Project teams are small, interdisciplinary, and collaborative. * New England Seacoast. Located in Hampton on the New Hampshire seacoast near beaches, with short drives to all the restaurants and shops in Portsmouth and Exeter, and 50 minutes to Boston.
