## About the Role

* 10+ years of experience in backend development with Java
 * Deep expertise in Java (Java 17/21 preferred) and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data)
 * Proven experience in designing distributed systems, microservices architectures, and event-driven patterns
 * Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for building event-driven systems
 * Strong proficiency and experience with Oracle databases, including performance tuning and query optimization
 * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
 * Strong knowledge of REST APIs, messaging systems, and asynchronous processing
 * Expertise in TDD/BDD practices and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers)
 * Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * Strong problem-solving, debugging, and technical leadership skills

 * Experience working in large-scale enterprise or fintech systems

## Description

* Lead the architectural design and implementation of new features, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and maintainable
 * Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
 * Architect and build event-driven systems using Kafka
 * Take end-to-end ownership of the feature lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design to deployment and post-release monitoring
 * Drive technical standards by performing rigorous code reviews and implementing best practices
 * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
 * Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
 * Optimize database interactions and schema design using Oracle
 * Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term fixes
