The ideal candidate serves as a member of the Engineering and Sustainment Systems Engineering Team. This position requires technical engineering experience, with a demonstrated understanding and application of systems engineering and configuration management principles and processes, mission planning/scheduling along with experience in systems engineering and sustainment of existing baselines. The position requires an understanding of data normalization and standardization, data integrity, and data and workflow identification and analysis. The successful candidate will be effective at face-to-face interaction with customers and other contractors to respond to requests for information, support technical meetings, technical interchanges and enterprise working groups. The candidate must be able to work independently and represent the program and SAIC at meetings and working groups with government and associate contractors. The candidate must be able to effectively interface with software developers and have a good understanding of how to communicate systems engineering requirements to software development teams.
