 * Strong experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
 * Familiarity with event-driven architectures and distributed systems
 * Exposure to AWS and cloud-native technologies such as containers, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
 * Experience with modern software development practices including TDD, automated testing, and DevOps methodologies
 * Interest or experience utilizing AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, LLMs, or similar technologies to improve development workflows
 * Strong problem-solving abilities and desire to work in a fast-paced business environment
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

## Description

We are partnered with one of the world's largest investment management firms, overseeing more than $2 trillion in assets across global markets. Their technology organization is investing heavily in cloud modernization, AI-assisted engineering, and next-generation trading platforms that support critical front-office operations. They are seeking a Java Back-End Developer to join a team responsible for building and modernizing trading, cash management, and collateral management systems used by portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices supporting trading, cash management, and collateral platforms (35%)

 * Build new cloud-native applications and contribute to ongoing AWS migration and modernization initiatives (25%)
 * Develop and maintain REST APIs, event-driven services, and distributed systems using modern engineering practices (15%)
 * Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, testing, documentation, and engineering productivity (15%)
