 * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
 * Experience applying systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
 * Experience supporting system and subsystem requirements, verification, qualification, and testing.
 * Understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools.
 * Experience developing and evaluating systems, networks, or information systems against applicable government security requirements.
 * Experience supporting technical engineering activities throughout the system development life cycle., * Experience with electrical system design and qualification.
 * Experience with optical system design and qualification.
 * Experience with electrical and optical requirements allocation and decomposition.
 * Experience with requirements lifecycle management.
 * Experience with new product development and transition to manufacturing.

## Description

* Develop and support test programs to verify system and subsystem requirements for undersea maritime systems.
 * Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses throughout the system development life cycle.
 * Develop and evaluate systems, networks, and information systems to ensure compliance with applicable government security specifications.
 * Develop system security documentation and provide system accreditation, certification, evaluation, and test support.
 * Generate technical engineering products throughout the system development life cycle.
 * Support the design and qualification of electrical and optical systems.
 * Perform electrical and optical system design activities, including requirements allocation and decomposition.
 * Manage requirements throughout the requirements life cycle and support system-level verification and validation.
 * Contribute to engineering frameworks, processes, and technical approaches used across multiple products or systems.
 * Support new product development and transition to manufacturing.
