You should be an expert in horizontal scaling, database sharding, and event-driven architectures. * Deep experience with cloud-native principles (Containers, Kubernetes, Serverless, and Service Mesh) and multi-cloud strategies. * Expert knowledge of Agile, Lean, and SAFe. You understand how to integrate architectural runway into a fast-moving development sprint. * Solid experience with automation frameworks, observability (APM, logging), and security-by-design (DevSecOps). * Exceptional ability to decompose complex problems and explain them clearly to both developers and executive leadership. Location Requirement - Hybrid: This role requires being in the office 3 days a week to collaborate closely with the Director and engineering leadership. ## Description ModMed is looking for a Senior Software Architect to serve as a technical linchpin within our Architecture Organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Software Architecture, you will be responsible for turning high-level business strategies into scalable, high-performing technical realities. You will lead the design of complex, cloud-native systems, ensuring that our software products are not only innovative but also resilient, secure, and built for long-term sustainability.As a Senior Architect, you will act as a bridge between the Director's vision and the engineering teams' execution, providing the technical blueprints and leadership necessary to modernize our healthcare technology suite., * Architectural Blueprinting: Define the technical solutions, assumptions, and constraints for major initiatives.
