Prepare reports and maintain accuracy and attention to detail., Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, data science, computer science, information systems, finance, or a related field. Two years' experience collecting, querying, cleaning, analyzing, and reporting data using statistical or analytical tools. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Preferred: Experience analyzing large or complex data sets and identifying patterns, trends, or data quality issues. Experience writing queries and preparing technical reports, dashboards, or presentations. Experience with data models, database design, data mining, or segmentation techniques. Experience handling confidential data and applying data security procedures. Experience with Provider Finance, Medicaid, health care finance, reimbursement, or public-sector programs. Experience identifying data gaps, errors, anomalies, inconsistencies, or redundancies and providing guidance to other analysts. ## Description The Data Analyst IV position helps Provider Finance use data to make informed decisions. You'll gather, organize, review and analyze large sets of information to find trends, errors and areas that need attention. You'll prepare reports, dashboards, presentations and other materials that clearly explain the results. You'll write data queries, review data quality, protect confidential information and work with internal and external partners to understand their data needs. You may also provide guidance to other data analysts. You'll report to the Director of Provider Finance and work under general supervision, with room to use initiative and independent judgment.
