You collaborate with engineers across disciplines, solve real-world challenges, and see your designs come to life in the field. Every detail you contribute will help power entire communities-safely, reliably, and sustainably. * Substation Design & Drafting: Develop electric substation drawings, including single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and control building layouts. Work closely with the Civil Engineering department to develop substation foundation and structure drawings * Engineering Analysis & Calculations: Perform substation design calculations and analysis such as ground grid analysis and design, lightning protection, voltage drop, and conduit fill. Perform analysis for protective relaying settings (e.g. short circuit, coordination and protection) and PT and CT sizing determinations (e.g. CT saturation, PT and CT ratio) * Protection & Control: Develop relay settings for various protective features with the aide of other departments and external vendor relay application engineers * Technical Documentation & Specifications: Develop technical equipment and construction specifications and work scopes * Collaboration & Quality Assurance: Work closely with peers to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of electrical design that meets client and industry standards, specifications, and good engineering practices * Field Support: Providing on-site technical support for select ENERCON clients during construction and commissioning as required #LI-MD1, The compensation range listed is a good-faith estimate of the compensation expected for this position at the time of posting.
