The salary range of this position is $87,100.00 - $115,800.00 and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required., * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering: Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace, Software Systems, Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering may qualify * Degree obtained from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education * Experience with software development using C/C++, CMake and/or scripting languages (Bash, Python 3 or similar platforms) * Familiarity with scaled agile software development tools and environments (Git, Jira or similar platforms) * Minimum clearance required to apply (candidates who do not currently hold the required clearance will not be considered): N/A * Additional Accesses: The ability to obtain and maintain the DoD security clearance eligibility and/or additional security access requirements necessary to perform the duties of the position, as required by the contract Desired Skills: * Experience working in a cross-platform development environment (Windows, Linux or similar platforms) * Experience with modeling and simulation * Experience with military weapons systems or military air platforms * Experience in the military test or training * Experience with networking in C++ Security Clearance Requirement Disclaimer: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain all security clearances, interim security determinations, and/or other access authorizations required by the applicable contract(s). Candidates should be hard-working individuals with strong attention to detail and the ability to foster a positive, team-oriented culture. ## Description The Simulation Applications and Architecture (SAA) Branch develops multiple modeling and simulation (M&S) tools in support of warfighter training; test and evaluation (T&E); data analysis; live, virtual, and constructive (LVC); research and development (R&D) activities for DoD agencies and its international partners. The tools include the Global Reusable Interface Domain (GRID), the Weapons Server Common Environment (WSCE), the Simulation Control Executive (SCE), and the Architecture Management Integration Environment (AMIE). The SAA Branch designs, develops, documents, and deploys these products and tools. The Battlespace Division delivers these products as part of an integrated suite of tools called the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) Technical Baseline (JTB); the battlespace for JSE.
