ITS creates and enhances the technology infrastructure and computer applications that support HRA and DHS and develops applications, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, case management systems, housing systems, employment/work engagement services, revenue producing computer matches, claiming systems, and personnel systems. Information Technology Services (ITS) is recruiting for one (1) IT Project Specialist, to function as Unix Middleware Engineer, who will: - Oversee complex infrastructure automation, cloud migration, and identity management. - Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-availability containerized environments and middleware stacks supporting enterprise applications. - Develop and implement Software Release Management strategies and CI/CD models using products like Jenkins, Red Hat Linux, Git, and Java; design container systems (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and orchestration strategies to meet system and security requirements. - Conduct code reviews to ensure overall quality, minimize defects, and maintain best practices and develop specifications for hardware, storage, and software configurations for container environments. - Write Ansible playbooks to automate application deployment and integrate them with Jenkins for a Continuous Delivery framework. Launch and manage AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Route53, and VPC, including security groups and load balancers, maintain system infrastructure using Jenkins and multiple AWS tools. - Develop observability strategies and design threshold monitoring for application performance. Implement Splunk and AppDynamics alerts for error code monitoring and maintain production Splunk environments on-premises and in the cloud. Design and implement Splunk dashboards for log visibility.
