## About the Role

* Active California bar license
 * Minimum 3 years of defense-side employment law experience
 * Strong PAGA case handling background
 * Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently and deliver practical compliance counsel

## Description

* Defend employers across the full spectrum of employment litigation - wage and hour, PAGA, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination
 * Handle matters from inception through resolution: pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
 * Advise employer clients on compliance with California and federal labor and employment laws
 * Draft policies, handbooks, and employment agreements to reduce litigation exposure
 * Collaborate with firm attorneys on cross-practice matters with an employment dimension, Any combination of the following is fine, you don't need all of them:
 * Wage and Hour Defense
 * PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act)
 * Wrongful Termination
 * Discrimination and Retaliation Defense
 * Employment Compliance and Handbook Drafting
 * Labor and Employment Law (CA and Federal)
